About Ron Hockey
A 45 year old father of three daughters, Ron Hockey has been part of
the Kelowna community since 1985 involved in numerous community
activities including his roles as:
Second vice president for Kelowna Regatta,
Co-chair for Communities in Bloom,
Secretary for Ben Lee Park,
An active member of Smile Africa and People in Motion,
Plus many more.
He has been honored in the community several times including
An appreciation award for all his work in the Ben Lee Park project.
2001 he was nominated as Man of the Year in Kelowna's civic awards.
Hero of the Day by People in Motion for his efforts as a ski instructor
for the disabled.
Ron would like to play an even more pro-active role at the decision making
level insuring a better future for the whole community.
