  • During this Civic Election I will talk about "Pride – Prosperity – Priorities"

    1) We must take back our City and restore the Pride.
How can residents of Kelowna take pride in their City when they feel unsafe in our parks, unsafe walking on sidewalks or driving on our streets, unsafe in our neighbourhoods and in their homes?

    2) We must change the City’s Priorities.
Residents are outraged by the lack of this City Council’s actions on long term planning of roads, and planning that is not keeping up with the City’s growth and has created traffic gridlock.

    3) The City must take back our Transit System and set new Priorities.
How can residents have pride in a Transit System that a few years ago won awards, but is now inefficient because of the Private Public Partnership that was created by the current City Council?

    4) We must restore sustainable development creating Prosperity without ignoring taxpayer views.
Homeowners have lost confidence in this City Council that has continuously ignored zoning requirements, the Official Community Plan, City staff, and ignores the local residents who are affected by the zoning changes.

    5) We must change the City’s Priorities and work towards basic and affordable housing needs.
How can residents take pride in a City that continues to ignore the homeless, the poor and the working poor?

We must restore our civic pride, work towards prosperity for all, and set new priorities for our City. If elected I will listen to the concerns of all taxpayers and residents and will work towards an open civic government that does not do business behind closed doors.
